Wow it is really loud. It will be hard to carry conversations with people in the car and hearing the radio. All my loose change was rattling around do to the sound inside the car. This system is a definite head turner.

Nope the stock catback is gone. The loudmouth all together weighed like 38lbs(what is said on the box).

Chainsaw is pretty accurate I guess, but its loud deep grumble at low RPMs makes up for it.|-Bright Red 1998 Firebird 3.8, A4, W68 & Y87-|
|-Dynomouth Cat-Back with 2.5\" dual/dual tips, 3\" Catco Highflow Cat, Fast Toy\'s Ram-Air, Holley Power Shot Filter, Carbon Fiber Whisper lid, 3.42\'s Auburn LSD, Clear Side Markers, T-Tops, 10 Speaker 500 Watt Monsoon Stero-|
AIM: nowhere manI7
Future Mods: Pacesetter Headers?, painted calipers, what else... hmmm
http://members.cardomain.com/redbird98

It's reallllly nice downlow. At WOT I've been compared to a heavily modded Supra, which I can't really complain about. If you call a Supra rice...well, you have something coming. It does not sound like a V8 up top, but it's not a V8.

When I ran !muffler with the i-pipe open at the end under the gas tank the sound was so bad I was so embarrased to go WOT. I swear I've never driven my car safer than the times when I was !muffler.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

I've said it before... the loudmouth does not sound bad on a v6 (at least a 3.4...never heard it on a 3.8). If i had received anything but compliments i would tell you guys; but all feedback has been positive. It sounds loud, deep, and a little throaty (not v8 trust me i know, but still pretty good) all the way up to ~4500 rpms. After that 'chainsaw' is fairly accurate i guess. I have no complaints though! I am positive a free flow set of headers and smoother Y pipe transition would make a large difference in sound.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Yes, it definitely does. And you 3.4L guys think yours is loud at idle...try dropping a cam in there. Then it REALLY gets loud. JHKCAM, gibe me a call sometime and you can compare.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

Loudmouth and a new cam... i'm sure its no comparison. :D I would like to hear it sometime though. And speaking of headers for the 3.4, what gains did you notice? I've heard mixed thoughts on whether its worth it or not on a v6. Are they even available right now?
