I got out of my car a few days ago and noticed a funny smell... It smells kinda like baked brown sugar (go ahead, laugh ) I have no idea what it is, I have never smelt something like that coming from a car. What the heck is it? And how can I get rid of it?

LOL, true. My little sister said it smelt like cookies. I'm just worried about it being a problem, like some kind of leak.1995 3.4L A4 Firebird White w/T-Tops *SOLD*
**NEW CAR**
2004 White Cavalier Coupe
2.2l ECOtec 5 speed

Its gotta be your coolant. Thats the only thing that I can think of that smells sweet. I would check all of your hoses for leaks.Black 1996 3.8L Firebird A4
--------------------------
Custom CAI, Flowmaster Dual Exhaust, 160 Deg Thermo, BMR ShockTower Brace
JVC mp3 HU, two 12\" Infinity Kappa Perfects, Infinity 6.5\" components, JBL 600.1 & 80.4 amps
Pics

If you start smelling it again, check to make sure it's not coming from your exhaust. Could have a cracked head gasket or something, allowing coolant to leak into one of your cylinders. Hope that's not the case, but if so test the compression in each cylinder to see if anything out of the ordinary shows up.2002 Firebird
Mods: Whisper CAI and Lid, K&N, Edelbrock Cat-Back, Hurst Billet Plus Shifter w/Lou\'s Short Stick, BMR STB, 32mm front sway bar w/polygraphite bushings and end links, PHB polygraphite bushings, HPP3 tuned
