the sound quality is pretty good. lot quieter than previous system but at the moment i feel like there has been a power loss down low (mind you i went from a 3 inch to a 2.5) for those of you that have this system what can i expect after it burns in? but i do want to thank the guys that helped me with my decision.

Don't expect much, seems like it has stayed the same since I put it on. Then again I've only put about 3000 miles on this exhaust. Seems like it got quieter though to me, maybe its just me who knows. All in all, i would get this one again even if it cost mad $$$2000 Y87 Bird M5 with mods
http://www.vzavenue.net/~ngeorg/

I'm normally a sucker for a loud exhaust (check out in the sig. what I have on the SS ... it's LOUD!)
The B&B tri-flow on the V6 has an awesome sound and I wouldn't trade it for anything louder. It's hard to explain but it just sounds really muscular, similar to a .. dare I say it .. a Mustang GT (a lot of people think I have a V8 from the sound). It even has the pops and gurgles when you let off the gas like a Loudmouth does. This tells me that even being 2.5 inch it's got impressive flow.
Enjoy! I do think it gets louder with time\'01 Camaro M5 1SA \"Lightweight\" hardtop, Bright Red, Ebony cloth, FRA, Whisper Lid, B&B cat-back, Torsen 3.73 LSD, HPPIII (93 octane setting)
\'00 Camaro SS M6 T-Top, all GM and most SLP opts., Bright Red, Ebony leather, 4.10s, SLP long tubes, Loudmouth, CNC Stage II H/C, etc.

So Blackbyrd, how would you discribe the sound with the catco cat over the old flowmaster you use to have. I know it is quieter but by how much. Also if you can get a sound clip that would be great. I am really thinking about getting this for my car so any info on it will be great. One more thing, how does it sound wjen you rev it in nutral, does it rasp out like the flows?2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!
Nothing but a 6!
Do you know for sure? John 3:18

toast first off any system sounds raspy like that in nuetral cant evoid it. ive had 3 systems i know. from straight outs, flows, now this. because there is now back pressure so its kind of like holding a piep up toyour mouth and blowing as hard as you kind real quick you get winded, but the the pipe is smaller or has a smaller opening in the end it retains more pressure. hinse the rasping sound in neutral (i think thats right correct me if im wrong. i dont exactly know how to get a soundclip, but i have a friend who can help me with it so ill try to get one.
sound compared to the flow, yes its quieter but not stock quieter. you can still here it when you stomp on it and just cruising down the road. it is all around the best thing i have heard yet but i still need to here it outside the car i have heard it bounce of building walls and it sounds great like that. my flows were great aslong as it staeyd below 3000 rpm after that questionable. but i think im in love TRI FLOW OWNS!!!!!
MR. Coffee
at sounds great all the way to redline you know what kind of engine it is but it still sounds good to me.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about getting a catco cat for my car but unsure on how it is going to sound. Also I was thinking about the B&B because i have heard nothing but good things about them. My Ravin i am sure sounds simular to the flows but like you said above 3 grand it sounds like a really loud chainsaw. I am just looking for somthing deeper and something that sounds more powerful. I was afrad that if i put the catco on the sound would just get worse.2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!
Nothing but a 6!
Do you know for sure? John 3:18

i might buy a used tri-flo from a guy with a V8. is it the same muffler? except the 3 inch inlet instead of the 2.5 and 3.0 i-pipe?? the V6 tri-flow has 2.5 in I pipe and V8 has 3 right? i know ill probable have to have it mounted different. would it be like puttting stock V8 exaust on a stock V6 car?
im getting it all for $200 w/ quad tips, but he said the tips are garbage and one of the outlet pipes are bent. if i get that replaced what do u guys think?http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/onoiocoko
\"there are three kinds of people - those who can count and those who can\'t\"

At the end of next month I'll be ordering the B&B and lid. I like the 40 Delta series, esp. down low, there's no popping or rasp, but I just want to get rid of that 2000 to 3000 rpm honda hollow wwwwaaaahhhh sound. I also hope the B&B is a tad louder than the delta-but the description sounds about the same.1998 3.8 Camaro A4,
B&B Triflow CatBack,Whisper Lid,
1987 s10 Blazer 350 V8 shift kit,
