Free Ram Air and Air Box raise

I have a 94 V-6. I'm debating whether or not I should do the free ram air mod. Also, I was debating moving the air box up but wasn't sure if you could on a 94, anyone?
Is it really worth anything to do the free ram air. I never race or am trying to make my Camaro "fast", I'm just wanting to make my car "better"
I have a K&N filter and I've heard it makes it a lot dirtier and more often so washing that out wouldn't be a problem, I just don't see on here with all my searches exactly what it does and if it's really worth it???

I don't think you can do either of those on our years. I think its for the newer V6's.

The only "ram air" mod I can think of is to put a small scoop in the plastic piece on the bottom of the car below the air box. It's hard to really fabricate true ram air on a 3.4 because of the loccation of the air box. BTW, if you're flowing more air your air cleaner will get dirtier faster.

So what in the heck can us 94 V-6 guys do to get horsepower? What can we do for free, anything? Anything cheap?

TB-Bypass? The only one I know about.

TB bypass doesn't really help. There's really nothing you can do for free (except removing weight), but you can do some stuff for pretty cheap, but it takes lots of time and creativity. You should probably focus for on just doing things cheaply (i.e. used parts, take-off parts). Remember, it's only a 3.4 [img]smile.gif[/img]
