Hey Dom i have 2 things for ya. #1 I had to put my Tb screen back in on my 02 camaro because the engine would surge when i would let of the gas between 1500 and 2000 rpms, it was really annoying. Plus the idle was not smooth anymore. #2 I saw in your sig that you are supposely the fastest 2002 V6 F-body. As i looked farther i see you only ran a 15.6 something while i ran a 15.1. :D ;) Looks like i am the fastest.

I was looking on the timeslips page, but thanks for notifying me I'll fix my sig now... However, I ran my time stock - you have an exhaust mod!

Sorry about the surging, wonder why? Mine doesnt do it!

My car runs fine without the MAF screen.

i believe of all the mods i did this did the most for my car , with the whisper lid second in performance gains/// i want to get a high flow cat next

I liked the gain. i did it after the whisper lid, and I could feel a little more pull after I did it. I'm sure it helps ur low end when u do exhaust mods. I wonder if smoothing out the area where the maf screen goes will get u any gains at high rpms. cuz that little ledge there seems like it could affect airflow a little bit, especially at higher speeds. I'm not talking about porting the whole thing, just smoothing that part around the inlet of the maf.
