    3.4 cat removal

    I have a 1994 3.4 firebird and am looking to replace the cat with a straight pipe. Will I need to buy an o2 sensor? Or will it not be needed sinse the car is OBD1? (I am unsure if the car has 2 o2 sensors ) Thanks

        The car should have 2 o2 sensors one on each manifold, but it does not need an O2 simulator becase it is Obd1 Im running a strait pipe right now.

          that is correct.. there is no O2 behind the cat so there is no need for a sim
