  • free flowing cat = better sound?

i have the 40 series with dual tips and a slp intake. currently my car is pretty quite at idle, but sounds nice when u accerlerate. will a free flowing cat give my camaro a louder and deeper idle rumble and improve the overall sound of my exhaust?

tone isn't too notable of a difference as in deepness. You will notice a little bit depending on the type of cat, but you will notice a significant difference in loudness.

from the cars i have heard with headers there really isnt much of a difference in sound other than slightly louder. your stock manifolds really arent that bad, i would tell you to just stick with them unless you go fi or nitrous.
