So, is there such a thing for us. Most of the aftermarket exhuast combos i have listned to sound like crap to ME. I know I am one of the only members that doesn't like the sound of modified v6 exhaust.
Is there a free flowing exhaust combo out there to anyone's knowledge that is as quiet as stock??????
Not really. I was in the same boat. The one that sounded the best out of the free flowing and was still kind of quiet was the Dynomax Super Turbo. Sounded great. If you have an auto, it will sound good the whole way up to about 5500 rpm. Never went higher cause of the limiter. I had it and was pleased with it. I switch to the take off z-28 because it did not have that drone at highway speeds most have. I travel a lot. The Dynomax definantely showed more gains in pickup though. It plant people in there seat while the takeoff was just like stock, but had the dual exit.
V8 take off would be a good choice for you I think, it has a nice sound all the way through the rpm range, but is quieter than any other exhaust I've heard (other than stock). As for power gains you might see a very slight advantage with dynomax over the take off, but I doubt much.

well before you decide, my dynomax super turbo is just as quiet as stock till you get on it and it remains smooth and beautiful, volume is never an issue on the highway or in town until i open up my cutout lol!
Take off would be the cheaper route and a lot more quieter if you are like me where volume is an issue. Just do not expect much gains SOTP. The Dynomax Super Turbo had way more more effect in SOTP. My passengers would get planted. My GF would get mad every time I punched it. But the drone would get on my nerves 10 hrs on the road back and forth. The radio would drown it out, but I can't have it loud all the time. Try thhe take off since they can be found free sometime or 20-25 bucks. If you don't like it, easy sell to someone else and order the dynomax which run about 50 bucks. Cheaper and better. Good luck chief!
i got the dynomax dual inlet/outlet with pacesetter headers and it is to me quiet as stock, and nothing about my exhaust is stock, even at highway speeds it is quiet.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
