I just installed the FTRA in my car but now the Airbox Assembly won't fit. For some reason I can't make it fit in the car. It seems like when I put the FTRA, the radiator and the AC were push back somehow. Now, when i put the airbox the holes for the screws won't come even close to the ones on the chasis. Have anybody had a problem like that?
Help please.
The FTRA piece should be tightly against the brace where you airbox bolts to. It shouldn't be leaning back towards the radiator at all. The only problem I had with my ram air kit was that the kit and the airbox didn't line up perfectly so I have this gap on the left side of my airbox that prevents it from being sealed completely... but then I fixed that with some thick weather striping!! Home Depo mods RULE!!

I just installed mine on Saturday...
My radiator ended up being pushed back some. I had to hook the airbox on to the radiator, and then pull the whole thing forward until I could get some bolts to bite into the holes. It took some force, but once I got the first bolt in it was easy going from there. Pretty tight fit but all seemed OK.
Strange, I too had the gap on the left side of the box. The pictures on the fasttoys site don't show this. Seems like an awkward fit, but I was able to seal it pretty good by strategically placing the included adhesive foam strips, which I cut in half.
I do wonder if the rubber stripping for the front of the airbox seals it well enough though, seems like the weakest seal in the system for me.
I also found out that the head of the bolt for my radiator support bracket had broken off. I still need to get a replacement.
Also for some reason, I couldn't get the holes in my air deflector to line up right with the holes in other plastic piece it connects to. I had to elongate the holes about 1/4" to even get the air duct bolts through. I even took my air deflector off twice to try and figure out why the holes didn't line up...weird, they obviously lined up before when the barbed clips were on ?
Anyway, it's all installed and seems to be working OK...

That is exactly what happened to me.
