egr @ intake question

99+ L36 straight TB. anyone taken the TB off & looked down it?

does the egr & evap emissions canister purge solenoid valve stick out into the airstream, thereby disrupting airflow?

if so, has anyone done any mods to smooth out the egr & valve??

yeah i think its stick down, i can't remember but if you were to cut it off, i'm sure there is a sensor on there that would set the ses light if you cut it off, but if you like the ses light go for it...

Our EGR valve pipe doesn't stick down like on the LS1. There is less than an inch from where its bolted to the upper intake the end of the pipe. IMO if you were to cut it down it would probably start to leak.
