  • Pacesetter Headers Vs. C.A.I. Headers

I don't know if this has been asked before but anyway. Which do you guys think is the better header for our cars. Let's put aside the price range.

So far Pacesetters have longer primaries but little collectors. CAI has shorter primaries but larger collectors.

From what I heard. CAI fits perfectly, pacesetter has to be adjusted.

Pacesetter seem to produce a deeper sound than CAI. I might be wrong.

So which one is the best header? Which one will give us better performance?

I don't know which one is better, but my Pacesetters didn't need any adjusting.

According to CIA and Pacesetter's websites...they both have 2 1/2" collectors. And my Pacesetters didn't need any adjusting, and there was no streering linkage clearance issue. I'd have to say hands down, BANK FOR THE BUCK, Pacesetter is the way to go.

CIA headers = perfect fit and 1.5" primaries
Pacesetter = well, not so good fit, and 1.75" primaries. If you're not really looking to put a big power adder on, and money isn't a problem, get the CIA headers. If you have any plans at all about tryin to get near 250-300HP, get the pacesetters. The extra .25" primary is supposed to help free up HP and TQ alot.

Dude RK sport is the only V6 header with 1.75" primaries. Both CIA and Pacesetter have 1.5" Primaries and a 2.5" collectors, the CIA headers have shorter primaries and longer collectors, than the Pacesetters. The 1.75" primaries on the RK Sport headers are really over kill for our engines, they actually reduce the velocity of exhaust leaving the engine. Just my .02...

yep...i would bet the pacesetters would make more power just because of the longer primary tubes...
