  • Probably Straight Piping It...

I'll cut off the cat, clamp on a new pipe, but what do I do with all the sensors? Will I be throwing codes like crazy?

what year is your car? you most likely just how to replace the after the cat senser with a sim, thats all. this is how it is on 3.8s i dont know about 3.4's.

you could alway just cut a new hole for the sensor and tap it.

That would still cause an SES. ;)

theres no point in that. if you put the sensor in its still going to throw a code. then youll have to unplug it anyway and still get a sim.

just do what you said and get a sim. theres only 1 sensor to worry about and its right after that cat.

How does a sim work? How do I hook it up?

Unhook the sensor, plug in the sim where the sensor would connect.

sim is short for 02 simulator, makes the computer think the 02 sensor is working fine, thus no code

Which one did you get? The 00+ have problems if you don't get the right one.
