My flowmaster system sounded good when i didn't have my headers on. So after I hooked them up, my system sounded mighty raspy even at low rpms. So I found a ls1 borla system and bought it for $375 (I love e-bay). Got it put on yesterday and ran it open. it sounds like music to my ears. Not as loud as i expected w/ running a 3" cat and running it open. It sounds sweet down low but it still has that 3500 rpm scream we are all destined to. But I still love it

sounds like like loudmouth but a little quieter, you definatly need headers by the way. It is alot raspier than what I've been told from others.

it does sound like a loudmouth at idle. but i think the loud mouth sound better after that. but i have tuby manifold so i dunno.

Actually if you listen there isn't much rasp at all, it's just decel. rasp and almost (keyword) every exhaust has that. When my exhaust was stock is made funny decel. noises. Make another clip with full revs then stop instead of a bunch of little revs.
EDIT: I know i brought this thread back from the dead but I listened to the clip again and realized this.
