Yeah I just ordered it ... Problem is I think they mis-heard me and are sending me blockoff plates as well (at an extra $10). So anyone who wants some nice ZZP blockoff plates can e-mail me. (I already have plates).

firebird1,

I have done the EGR reroute on my 2k1 with very good results in mid-range rpms at less than full throttle, of course. The engine is N/A.

To solve the code throwing problem I simply routed a tube from the IAT sensor opening in the air lid to the EGR so I still get adequate air flow to and through the EGR and it is filtered air.

In order to use a 160 thermo I hade to bridge the the IAT harness with a 18K resistor so I had no need for the IAT sensor and could use the sensor location for air pickup.
2001 Camaro M5 Coupe(1 of 2,737), no options, Whisper Lid, K&N Air Filter, Free Ram Air, MAFS Screen removed, SLP Manual Fan Switch, 160 thermo, DEE\'s T/B Spacer, EGR Block-off plate, IAT resistor, CAI to EGR air feed, B&M Ripper Shifter, SLP Replacement Grill, T/A Exhaust, SLP five spoke take-off wheels, BMR strut-tower brace, BMR Tunnel Brace, BMR 32/21 front & rear sway bars with poly, BMR Poly/Combo Rear Control Arms, Clear front & rear corners, HPP3 modified 87 Octane program.
http://www.cardomain.com/id/red2k1

How hard is the install of the ZZP EGR Sim w/ block off plates. Im about to install some PSH along with a turbo kit, is this something I should be thinking about.
Thanks,
Shane

did you make your own fan switch? because the slp one is supposed to just plug in. and yes the egr simm will work on our cars, the plates may not, mo big deal making them

The plates do work on our cars, it's just a bit of a challenge sometiems to get them to seal, being that there is just on bolt doing the job.

I got a smaller hose clamp around it tight to try and hold it over the spot it need to be. Because naturally when you go to torque down on the bolt and/or nut, the plate wants to torque around also. The clamp help it secure obver the spot enough that I could get a decent amount of torque on the bolt. I still have a tiny leak though, but I'm gonna try a little JB weld possibly to get it to seal.

I guess I'll try the ZZP simm W/plate too, mine blew off when racing with a pony. the top plate curved upward and the gasket shooted out.
Now I have a crevice with half the gasket missing. the one bolt idea was definitely a NO-GO! from the GENERAL (GM). My mechanic also recomended a spot weld, just to be on the safe side.
