mine still gets hot, car runs just over 160' on the gauge... i like it, but i'd wait till spring... my trick is to let it warm up a minute or so and then drive it even though it's still real cold, just go slow a few blocks and under load the motor warms up real fast, that's when the heater'll get warm too.

160 degrees is still pretty damn hot. I keep mine in and it works fine.

I agree. I've had my 160 in for going on 2 years now and I still have to turn the heat down in my car.

Or better yet, go get yourself the 180* version. Better heating, better gas milage, and better than the stock 195*.

I live in Utah and Michigan, and I might get a 180 for the winters. While it still gets warm, it takes about 5-10 minutes longer in my car.

P.S. Notice that everyone who said 160 is fine is from the south, so perhaps base it off of where you live. See, when it gets to be 10 below or so, I don't like having to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for the heat to start working... by that point my eyes have frozen shut, my tongue has frozen to my teeth, and I have a nice icy shell. ;)
