  • Headers or Tubulars / Turbo kit setup

I'm planning on getting in on the group purchase for the turbo kits next year, and I'm not sure what I should do here. Should I get a set of headers (probably pacesetter) or just get stock tubular manifolds from a 2000+ car? Will the tubular manifolds bolt right up to a '97? I'm thinking tubular manifolds might be the best choice since they are pretty close in performance to actual headers and I can still pass smog. What should I do?

I don't know how to make my own headers though. I just want to have a good setup for when the turbo goes in, and if it gives me immediate gains then that's always good too. Does anyone know if the tubular manifolds from a 2000 or newer car will bolt up to my '97?
