    whats the difference in performance, why would one be better over the other. I heard that long is better top end where short is better low end. Maybe i am wrong, just curious..

    long tubes make more horsepower period, course the size and combination of the motor makes the lengths different...on a mildly modified 3.8 the primaries need to be around 36-38" long w/a collector about 15-18" long...
