• TB spacer?

what if you just got like 8 gaskets and put 'em all in there? would that work the same as a spacer?

Yah, up until the point that the air poked a nice little hole between two of the gaskets....

You're much better off with a spacer. By layering the gaskets you are creating more play for the TB.

Each new gasket costs about $7.00 from GM (8x7=$56)
Used TB spacer from someone here on this board $30 + two new gaskets (= about $44)
Buying all gaskets and finding out that you were better off buying a spacer in the first place because you now have an intake leak...pricelss!

buy a spacer

you can make a TB spacer if you have a jigsaw and some wood. wood actually makes VERY good TB spacers, b/c of the temp insulation it gives the TB.

I have a zzp one sitting here @ home..

I have had it for a while now because i am lazy..

its about 1/2" thick.. atleast..

and you need to buy 2 gaskets yo use it..

and you need to find some stainless bolts that will fit it..

and...... you will probably need to trim down your lid if you have one..

thats all i know thus far..

TB spacers are a waste of time on dry-flow systems. End of story.
