Hey Ted, my setup is pretty much just like yours only my piping is longer so it fits right in the corner behind the headlight and fender. A friend of mine had the pipe and filter allready and he wanted to get rid of it so he gave it to me, all I had to buy was the 90 degree elbow and the clamps. I get the sucking sound, especially since the weather has cooled off.

sorry, I don't have any pics. I really need some though, if anybody wants to come to Mobile and take some for me they can. I need a break from worrying about finals this week.

hey raven, you haven't seen gains because you're not ramming it! you gotta have the back of the tube at the back of the scoop for it to actually force air up there! so get like somehting to cover up the corners, make the hole flush with the rest of it, and post what you get!

This has been my best intake mod so far.

Cutting down the tb was a royal pain though...

And coming up with that piping was one of the hardest parts of the whole thing.

Ted, I am looking into doing exactly what you did. What help can you give me? How hard was it to do? Did it effect the sound of your car, or performance? I was looking under the hood today and was trying to figure out how you would fit a 3" pipe between behind the radiator, it looks pretty tight in there. You said that you got that piece off of another car? Thanks for your help.

I removed all the air box and tubing stuff so all that was left was that rubber 90* elbow. Then i bought a 3" $25 ricer cone filter and used some 3" PVC pipe as a spacer to make it fit tightly into the rubber 90*. You can definately hear and feal the new air flow all throughout the powerband, its the best $25 you could put into your camaro.
