What is a good muffler that is 3" inlet and 3" dual outlet for performance? the only one i can find is the magnaflow MPE-12298 for $85:

Why do you need dual 3" outlets? I always loved my 80 series.

You don't need 3" tail pipes, get 2.25" or 2.5" tail pipes. 3" is to big IMO.

dmw, my full 3" system is actually 3 all the way with 2.5 duals after the muffler to the 3.5" tips. That is already max of what should be used imo, also it is what comes on v8 systems.

^ nothing, if you wonna use them use them. he's just saying that your system is a SINGLE 3" pipe then muffler then two 3" pipes is too much. i agree with him 2.5 is fine.

Exactly, save some money and use the old tail pipes.

ok cool. i guess all i need is those 3 pipes and some welding.

so i guess my real question is.. stick with the flowmaster? or get a new muffler? whats a good one to get thats 3" in, 2.5" dual out?

most of the exhuast out there foir our cars a 3 in dual 2.5s out. i personally dont like mufflers. they sound good donw low but up top ,nasty. go with a set up like the loudmouth or tsp rumbler. they sound better then any exhuast ive heard. borla's sound good too though.

Hey 99v6cam, nice car. Where did you get those v6 emblems? BTW, I have the Aerochamber muffler, 3" in 2.5" dual tail pipes with 3" dual dual tips. Sounds pretty good IMO...
