I've noticed the past month or so my 95 3.4 firebird has been idling really high. for example start the car rev's up to about 2200 RPM's. So start driving shifting is fine, go back to nuetral to stop and rpms start reving up to about 2200 to about 2500 and it feels like the car is reving up and reving down. I've changed the IAC. The idle air control sensor and have tried cleaning out inside of the IAC when I replaced it. Still idling extremely high. Anyone have any suggestions or solutions to this problem ?

Possibly a vaccum leak.
Check your PCV valve harness and especially check the little T connecter that is part of the harness that is right there behind the V in the intake manifold.
Or check your gaskets, like your throttle body gasket if you messed with that. Carefully feel around with your hand for any air pushing up at it, except for the air you feel from the fan blade of the alternator, of course.K&N CAI, Magnaflow High Flow Cat, Flowmaster American Thunder 2.5\" Cat-back exhaust w/ 40 series Muffler (single piped exit), Pacesetter Midlength Headers, TB Bypass.

Vid of my 3.4 - http://media.putfile.com/Headers49

Ya I'm gonna have to check some of that stuff tomorrow. My buddy who did my exhuast for me Said something to the extent it could be a Throttle body gaskett or a vacuum.. Lets just hope this isnt going to a very expensive fix. Just sucks idling at high rpms and burning gas and with the price of that lately I'm not thrilled with that one bit...John
Flowmaster custom piping, K&N intake and filter, catco high clow cat, stage II clutch, More to come.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2036060

It shouldn't be very expensive, if it's what I, and your buddy thought that it was. NP, sorry I didn't see the post earlier. I still consider myself a complete beginner, so I can only give advice based on what I've done and learned so far. But it really feels good to help people, even a little, the way that much more knowledgeable individuals have helped me in the past. I recommend posting on this forum and camaroz28.com, they are both the best for Camaros.K&N CAI, Magnaflow High Flow Cat, Flowmaster American Thunder 2.5\" Cat-back exhaust w/ 40 series Muffler (single piped exit), Pacesetter Midlength Headers, TB Bypass.

Vid of my 3.4 - http://media.putfile.com/Headers49
