• Borla! anyone with new sound clips please!

I tried searching and can't find any decent 3.4 borla clips... or borla clips in general...

the last guy who posted one in a recent post it was all raspy... I'm becoming skeptical. I don't want to have to go with a flowmaster on my roadster, it just wont sound right i dont think.

does anyone have any **3.4 borla** or other borla exhaust clips?

I'm looking for something mellow, but not quiet.

hey dude, I just found a post of yours... what borla system do you have? is it the one with the Y pipe and straight through portion with the restrictor plates? or the single in/dual out design?

Why don't you just go with Edelbrock? Its cheaper than borla, it sounds nice, and it isn't too loud or too quiet.

My borla is raspy now, but thats because its so unrestrictive. It got like that when I put the High flow cat on, I need to drop one of the restricter plates in. Besides the guy was revving the **** out of my car in upwards of 5k rpm's, he was hungarian and didnt speak english so i couldnt tell him how to rev it apparently

what if I stay at around 2.5" all the way down?

the raspyness comes with low restriction, too much open of an exhaust right? so you just have to make sure you are using all of the capacity?

I have a Borla rear section on my 96RS and I don't think it sounds to raspy. It doesn't sound like the american thunders on the 69 camaro, but it still sounds good. Maybe someday I'll get around to insalling the headers and new cat.
