my friend and I (board member "Cam") tried this on his bird about a year ago. From what we could tell it didn't work that well. Tonight i decided to ditch watching the Chiefs game and give this intake thing a try. I put it on and drove it around town a little and noticed its a little easier to get up hills...but also when i went WOT from a stop light it felt like it wasn't pulling as hard. Maybe its all in my head
Anyone else who has done this please post your results or what you think of it. Im just curious to see if this delivers real results. Thanks

well its a dryer vent that goes from the TB to the intake hose that connects to the airlid. This is the stock hose that has the IAT sensor jack in it. Sorry I would post pics but i dont have a digital camera or a camera phone....but wait cam you have one do you not?

i used a pvc pipe, but due to being 15 i havent got a chance to really test mine after shaving the lid and adding the pvc, i cant see why it would be a problem tho and have never heard of this reported before
thinks for your guys' imput but i have a 98 which means the TB is angled and pointed down kinda. So i really gotta jimmy rig something up for this to work.
I just tried something new with some Autozone piping and i bolted it all up and it fits really well. Its way to confusing to explain so hopefully i can get a camera here soon

I know exactly what you mean max. I did the same thing with dryer vent material a while back. I didn't notice any higher running temps though. Taking out that stock baffle gave me a noticeable improvement in the 3000+ rpm range.
