A faint ticking with RKsport headers....

I recently got my full exhaust put on, and all is well except for this faiiiiint tick tick ticking, i know its a tiny leak, but i dont know where its coming from, if anyone else does, how do i get rid of it? The power is defientally still there though, but its quite...annoying. Any information is greatly appreciated.

retorque the header bolts. If that doesnt work you need new gaskets. Usually the gaskets that come with the headers arent of the best quality.

get a piece of pipe (the foot long collecting tubes from a vaccum will work well) and listen around the engine for where the tick is coming from. make sure you check the egr.

what gaskets are you using? and do you have locking bolts on it?

I just got the napa gaskets put on, few days ago, dont think i have locking bolts.

I think the ERG always clicks for the RK sport headers unless you block it off. Ive never tried NAPA gaskets....I used OEM but if your Y pipe/header connection is leaking get these SCE4225 from summit.

will thoes gaskets from summit work on pacesetter y-pipe?

They should work....I thought the y pipe diameter were the same for all 3 headers and y pipes. I think the only difference between them are the primaries.
