  • Need Headers FTPP or TSP ??

Hey guys, I just want to know what place should I get my headers from. I was thinking FTTP but I "heard" that they still have a couple of the bad batch, don't want to risk it . So where do you guys recommend me getting headers from??

The Pacesetter headers that we are getting now are straight from Pacesetter so they are not from the bad batch.

Called Pacesetter and they do not have any coated ones on the shelf. They do have painted ones on the shelf ready to ship but the coated ones will take about 2 weeks to get out of their plant.

non coated aren't as bad as people say, you just have to have patience waiting for them to cool off if you work on the car.

or you can just wait an extra 2 weeks for the coated headers so you only need to let the car cool down maybe 20 min. i ordered mine from ftpp and it took almost 3 weeks since they came directly from pacesetter.

As long as I get what I paid for I can wait and they're coming from Pacesetter so thats a plus.
And my tax-return finally came so I'm finally getting headers :D .
Thanks for the fast replies Josh.

One other option would be to buy the painted one and send them to Jet-Hot. That would be pricey, but a GREAT coating.

go with the coated ones. the painted will rust and turn to crap. I bought coated, but the Y-pipe I recieved was painted. Wish I had returned it and complained.

I'm was surprised with the fact that mine still haven't started rusting yet. It's been about 5 or 6 months since I put them on and the paint baked off right away but no rust. Interesting gold color though, almost like when chrome blues but darker.

Still looks like crap since it is mated to the nice shiny coated headers.

Goto the V6 Section, then to exhaust, then to headers.
