• Whats the best headers?

I currently have a magnaflow cat back in my garage waiting for install. (come warmer weather). I figure I'll get a mag highflow catalatic converter as well. So if i'm going to start I may as well finsh, right?

Anyhow, my question is: what is the best header for a 3.8 with a magnaflow exhaust system. The two big names I hear are RKsport and Pacesetters.

the BEST would be Clear Image

Also by far the most expensive. Unless you have tons of money, get yourself a set of ceramic coated Pacesetters.

for an N/a car I would agree, but for forced induction I think RkSports are the best based on what i've read the past 2 years i've been on this site.
      Eclipse 8443, CDT ES-620s in doors (Clarion APX401.2), IEK, CDT 6X in rear(HU), Image Dynamics ID10v.3D.4 in stealthbox(Clarion DPX1001.2)
http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33
borla cat-back, FTRA, whisper lid

CIA is the nicest set of headers you can buy, but RKSport has bigger collectors if I remember right.

So, if you ever plan (seriously) on running Forced Induction, RKSport is the way to go.

If you have the money (or you can find an awesome deal on used like me ) then CIA is the way to go.

If you are like most of this board and are a cheap bastard (like me), then get pacesetters unless you can find an awesome deal.

No one makes adequate headers for any 3.8 application. They will be only marginally better than stock. You'll need to build longtubes if you want any real power.

You speak as if you have tubular monifolds..... oh, wait, you do. Any of the headers on the market are a terrific upgrade for those of us whose car came with the logs.
