  • O2 Sensor Question

I just bought a 3" catback and now i'm getting ready to buy a 3" high flow cat. I was going to buy one from magnaflow with a rear O2 sensor boss, but then I saw that it says it's OBD-II compliant. I have a 95 3.4 L, so does that mean I use OBD-II or OBD-I? Will that cat work on my car either way, even if its OBD-II compliant and my car uses OBD-I?

Wait! Before you buy anything like I did. My brother actually told me that all you have to do is put 2 paper clips to the places where the scanner would go. I'm not sure about this, because mine won't throw me any codes anyhow, but you should investigate this either way.

investigate i shall. i thought if the car is OBD1, there are no sensors or anything in or after the cat, just the exhaust manifolds. what scanner is this?
