K&N or SLP? anyone who has either have any comments and are the filters on the SLP that good. With the SLP I like the fact that its metal but with the K&N I know that its a good company but its plastic. thanks for the help.

If you buy the K&N from RK Sport they will include an elbow that makes it compatible with the 3.8
SLP is still better in my opinion though

yep, you need the 1le elbow. you could also just buy it used somewhere or something.

its really probably a toss up and ive never seen any dyno data on one vs the other. slp is more popular around here.

slp is cooler looking though. thats a fact.

I have a SLP. The filters are fine. You can clean and oil them just like real K&N filters. They are both good companies and they are both way over priced for what they are.

I was parked on the side of a road and a dump truck drove by and caught it with its front bumper.

I'm going to order the SLP one next week. Does anyone have any pictures of the SLP one on a 3.8?
