  • Undercar ram air intake

I am about to install an undercar ram air intake on my car. I've read that there is a chance that this could affect my radiator. If I were to cut some small holes (3-4 inch lines) in the side facing the radiator, would this help keep the radiator from getting too hot?

    thanks for the answers

holes might help. my fast toys kit does not 'touch' the radiator but it does sit in front of it. I never had a problem with overheating. (have 180 degree thermo and fans set at 180 degree)

the fast toys comes with a lower 'ram' scoop as well.
no overheating with that on as well. have since removed the lower ram air scoop (not needed with addition of super charger) just in case of puddles.
But, drove all winter and fall in seattle with it on
and never had a problem with puddles. (over rated
      danger I think)
See how it goes before you carve up your new intake. your radiator will most likely be fine.
