what size is your flowmaster pipes? if it's 2.5" go with 2.5" cutout or if it's 3" go with 3" cutout. I have put one in my car and one in my cousins car. I have found that you do lose some low end power because of the less backpressure. There's a seller on ebay who have great deal on cutouts if you already haven't bought it. By the way there's a bump below right hand passenger side seat. I had mine installed there. you don't wanna put it before cat (most shop won't do it) unless you like throwing around ses codes.

            here's the link:

            http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAIR-...temZ7996751333

for $29 (that less than the price of one cutout) you get 2 cutout with track wrench. You can use one and sell/give the other one to someone else. I recommend that seller. Good luck man.

First find out what size is your pipe. Then follow the above instruction. It's better to have it weld sideway so that you don't scrape it.

i got a 3 inch and put it in the bump. after a lot of research i came to the conclusion that thats the best spot. in front of the cat is just good for sound.

More to the side, if you point it down you will scrape it. Mine was dropped 2"s and with it pointed to the side, it would still scrap on speed bumps. SOmetimes driving down the road my buddy tailing my would call me and say I was throwing sparks. It was fun lol.

anyone seen an F-16 jet engine exhaust? How the afterburner is all closed at first then the pilot gets on it and it starts opening?

I wish my cutout would do that, for low end power/torque
