getting tired of the headers/hiflowcat/loudmouth setup.
Right now I'm thinking of ditching the loumouth, and use a WS6 takeoff.
Looking for something that doesnt have much interior drone. chances are I'll go with an electric cutout after the cat, and run that at the track, and drive around town with the cutout closed.
opinions?
I guess I\'d have answer your question with another question.

How many Abidiginals do you see in modeling??????

headers, 3inch magnaflow cat, Loudmouth
99 Midnight Blue Firebird
3.8L A4

can you add a transversly mounted oval muffler under the gas tank in addition to the mid pipe resonator?
might look into modding what you have rather than getting all new.
I have two mufflers...it is still loud at 1/3 throttle or more...but not loud while cruising.
I think all aftermarket hi flow mufflers will be loud. Some folks realy like the hooker and the edelbrock sound. I have never heard those...the people who say they sound great do not say if they are loud though....just that they sound good.
I will post a link to my exhaust sound bite here if I get the chance to make one today... just to give you an idea of what a resonator (non muffler- muffler) and a (sorta like a muffler) magnaflow muffler sound like.

had flowmaster before, wasnt really happy with the sound.
I then switched to the loudmouth, then added headers and a cat. the chainsaw is getting to be too much for me.
The other day I was walking out to my car and a GP went balls to the walls from a stop sign. It sounded amazing, almost 350Z/G35 ish. thats what I want mine to sound like

I had the same problem with my rumbler. Get a Borla XR-1 bullet muffler and put it in place of the resonator. Mine sounds perfect now the muffler just hangs really low.
i want those vacuum operated valved c6 zo6 mufflers.. wonder how much those cost.
