well i have the 2.5 flowmaster with the special resinator. Well I love the sound, but it needs to be louder. So iam thinking of gettting headers and getting a bigger cat. 3 inch from the headers to the cat then go into my 2.5 flowmaster. Think this should help with the sound a little? Any ideas, but iam tring to avoid doing anything to my prexisting cat-back system.

I thought about a cutout, but don't you loss performance with those? Plus it will sound like crap at high rpm's and mine sounds good at high rpms right now. I just want it to be louder 1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

The cutout makes it louder it doesn't really help it sound more raspy. If your car naturally sounds raspy it will magnify the raspiness, if you have a nice cat and headers etc... and it sounds good then it will magnify your car sounding good, get what im saying? And as for performance my friend dropped .2 seconds off his ET consistently with it. 2 tenths for something that costs 25 bucks aint too bad in my book.
