Can anyone tell me if the 1998 and the 1999 camaro intakes are the same. Someone is posting a whisper lid for sale from their 98 and I own a 99.

No, the 98 intake is angled and cable-driven, while the 99+ intake is straight and electronically controlled. no they don't work.
98 has an angled TB
99-02 has a straight TB. You could buy one for your 99 that came from a 99, 00, 01, or 02, but NOT a 98
The Lid will not match up properly
