I'm interesting in doing a cutout, and yes, I have searched the boards I found out the best thing to do was to put it right after the cat, so I was going to go with the 2.25 inch one from summit I think? But I talked to my exhaust guy and he said make sure its stainless steel so it doesn't rust really bad or something? The one on there was iron I thought... beats me

Also, can anyone who has one tell me how it sounds at idle and revving and wot and stuff? Any performance gains (what I'm really into knowing) I will not be upgrading the exhaust until I swap for a v8 so 2.25 inches is fine for me

I would go with a 3" cutout just in case you decide to get a bigger I pipe in the future.
