• Homemade Intake elbow question!

I am installing my K&N cold air tomorrow and I'm using some of that exhaust tubing that you put on the back of your dryer. I decided to do this instead of spending 60 plus shiping on and intake elbow, its fireproff and fits perfects. I was just wondering if it would make me fail my inspection that I have to renew in April? just wanna make sure just incase I should bring my old intake housing with me incase they wont pass me. Thanks!

it wont make you fail inspection but it will cause air turbulance and there for sort of defeat the purpose of the cold air intake that is suppose to make the air straight not turbulant so that it does not heat up.

It works, my problem with it was I hit bumps and it would bounce into the cooling fan, shreadding it.

You should be fine with emissions.
