  • Question about header pipes...

If and when I get headers I'm gonna get the rksport ones cause i heard they flow the best and have the best performance. Whats the pipe diameter on these at the end? The part that goes into the cat.

the collecter size, im not sure of, but just about everyone who's bought RK sport headers has had a problem with them leaking bad, i'd ask around and see what thats all about before i purchased them..

I would have them welded to eliminate that problem.

I have the 3 bolt flange welded on the pipes and the end of the headers and I also use metal gaskets with o rings in between the pipes.. They leak a little but at least I can unbolt them when I drop the motor out the car.. The y pipe is either 2.25 inches or 2.50 inches and 3 inches is the diameter of it when it bolts up to the cat..
