    Why aren't my flows that loud?

    I just got my flows installed today (along with a new mandrel bent 2.5" i pipe) and it doesn't seem to be very loud. I want to get a Catco Cat (even though it's illeagle in CA). Does the cat increase the actual volume of the muffler? As far perdormance... DAMN! Low end is the same, but mid and top are rediculous now!

    wait for it to break in...... then it will sound a lot better.... also if u change ur cat... i will be a lot louder...

      I bought it used (it was used for 2 years). It's just not loud... kind of dissapointing. how loud does the cat make it though?

        Slowmaster 80 series sounds bad. There is no other way to say it. They just suck, even when it gets burned in.

            That's the thing... it does sound nice. It's just about as quiet as the damn stock muffler! Someone told me my cat my be plugged up right now.

              If your cat is clogged, then that might be the problem. My idle is very deep and VERY loud when the muffler is cold. Put a catco high flow cat on there and watch your eyes go.. [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img]
