When i floor it i hear a rattle...sounds liek its coming from the cat? COuld this be it?

Where's it sound like it's coming FROM? Do you have an aftermarket intake? If it's loose, that also makes a nice rattling noise. But yeah, check the exhaust system too, see if anything is the matter there....
On my old 3rd gen, the rattle led to - about a week later - the "last straw" for my right rear exhaust pipe [stock at the time] to fall off and start scraping all over the street. What kinda rattle you talkin bout?
