    i was thinking of getting this what do u guys think better air flow then slp and fast toys?

      This is a common misconseption. Rain is not a problem. The promlem only occurs in cases the the intake is submerged in water (like if you drive through a deep puddle). Its really nothing you need to worry about.

        I would think they would do about the same.....like Tpunk said rain really isnt an issue unless u get a deep puddle. look for what material they are made out of.....i know the SSRA kits are made out of ABS plasitc

          I live in seattle. no problem with rain. Just don't try to cross a flooded out river.

          people have reported here that the plastic ram air kits are breaking. (the lower section)

          The slp is kinda nice because you can get just the main kit for about 120 bucks and then add the scoop section later if you want.

          I would get a metal kit.

          Add a K and N filter and a smooth air bellows and you will enjoy.

            well i bought one for my 98 from rk sport except it was made out of sheet metal and I loved it and had no problems with water

              i've got that and have no problems. the rain thing is BS. i love how it is made out of plastic. if you ever hit a curb with it, JB weld it back together :D
