I in the navy in the desert flying Iraq and my wife is having problems with the car back home see says that the check engine soon light came on and the car is running like it is missing!!! does anyone know how I can tell her to check for codes to see what is wrong with the car so see can have it fixed? oh by the way she is in spain with the car so we can't just drive down to the dealer any info would be helpful.

find an OBDII scanner and grab the codes, and ive seen a code list on this site somewhere -
