Does anyone elses pacesetters rattle where the 90* bend on the drivers side meets the other part of the y-pipe? My is rattling like a snake that got stepped on and sounds like trash. It didnt start the other day and my bolts are all tight... Anyone have this problem know how to solve it before I go pick up a 180* exhaust clamp.
I think the two peice Y-Pipe is a dumb *** design.

Weld it yourself or have a shop weld it for you.
Possibly the only way to keep rattles away. It will be a PITA to remove (if needed), but it won't rattle anymore.
sounds like the bolts are loose, if u checked them before u started the car, then they are going to be tight. But, once the car is started and left running for like 5-10 minutes, i bet the bolts will be loose. Use shorter bolts from NAPA, and get like the brass nuts, which are better with dealing with heat. this is what i did and no more rattling.
i dont know if they gave you the gay half thread bolts but pick up some long full thread bolts and nuts and tighten down when hot and recheck often shortly after. should fix your problem
