Ok, I went ahead and made the switch, i found one off of ebay for like 20 bucks, and it was only a year old. Anyways, WOW  sounds so damn good not too loud, but very very very deep and for lack of a better term, gurgly, very lt1 sounding, now not anywheres near an lt1 but you get my point. However this nice sound lasts till bout 4500rmp, then it doesn't sound bad by anymeans, not ricey, but the dynomax kicked the crap out of the flow, on the upper band, the dynomax sounded amazing with heavy throttle and bout 4grand.
So the flow.. amazing from idle till 4500rpm, but not bad the rest of the way up
The dynomax.. not bad idle, not the best from 1500 to 4000rpm, but mean and deep and powerfull, the rest of the way up.
In conclusion im glad i made the switch, i do most of my driving down low, i dont' get on my car very much, so its worth the great sound down low.
BTW I have a 3" Ipipe and a 3" in/out catco
