You'd probably have to get the LT1 SS Ram air kit. Probably not worth the extra cost, those 3.4's don't take in that much air at all (not saying 3800's do either).-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe

hey fredless, i dunno if i would jump to the conclusion of saying that the 3800II doesnt take in that much air, it takes in more air than would an N/A GN 3800I (i know there isnt a N/A GN, just hypothetically) but if you are comparing to a v8, well, then i think u should specify...because our 3800's take in a TON more air than a dinky 1.6L I4
So with only .4L behind, i think the 3.4 may take in a good amount of air also at WOT.
But yeah, the functional SS hood for the 3.4 probably isnt worth it, just get a CAI and a non-functional hood; you will save money.2000 Navy Blue T-top Camaro A4
TSP Rumbler
Carsound Hi-flo Cat
!MAF screen
Whisper lid
HPP3

I don't know that I would count out an SS type hood with Ram-Air for the 3.4L. Actually, I was wanting to get the Ultra-Z hood with Ram-Air for my '94 Camaro 3.4L, but of course my engine will eventually be bored over by maybe 40, have a high performance cam, maybe a stroker crack installed if my 3.4L can take one, port/polish, headers.....I think I could make some power with this little block.
