    i have a 96 RS with the 3.8 and flowmaster 80 series. and i was wonderning if i get my cat. vonverter cut off will it make it sound any high pitch, my mechanic says it will make it high pitch. any comments?

    it would be more raspy, just get a catco.

        It starts to sound raspy and kind of ricey at higher rpm's. I have a catco and it is still raspy at high rpm's but down low it makes your exhaust rumble.
