What kinda of headers did you get?

I got pacesetter headers for my 3.4 in my living room, and I havnt gotten around to it because it looks like a big pain. What was the hardest part?

Did you happen to get any pics?

Did it make your exhaust sound deeper?

hardest part will be getting the bolts out OneBad9D5. If you want, if we set some time aside sometime, maybe early this summer so school doesnt get in the way and getting off work will be easier. I'll be willing to help you out. its up to you

yes getting the old bolts is BY FAR the hardest part. after that, its pretty easy.

when you get to the bottom front bolt on the Pass. side by the ac, unbolt the 4 bolts holding the AC to the braket and move it out of the way. this gives you enough room to get a socket on there. took me about 10 mins total.

                I bet travis wants to

i wish i was smart enough to unbolt the A/C....i didnt think of it till after i had tightened the bolt on the new header....lol, go figure. o well, they're in, and sweet, soon im gonna redo everything past the cat. im thinkin about gettin a true-dual setup made, if i can find clearance so i dont slam on everything

Are you guys leaving in the alternator and starter and stuff to take these off?

You have to take the alternator off! And take out the EGR and starter too. I took all that off and had my headers off and cleaned in about 3 hours yesterday. If I had the right bolts they would have been back on in another couple hours. 2 hours for one bolt is crazy
