I am currently in the process of upgrading my 94 V-6 exhaust. I am purchasing a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler with 3" dual exhaust, and getting a 2.75" I-pipe from an old Z-28. Also, I want to purchase a new catalytic converter. This aspect I know least about. I know I need to get a good high-flow one, but I don't know what's on the market for them at all. I only wanted to spend around $50 on one. Any suggestions?

What gives you the idea it is not a high flow cat? For one thing it's 3" diameter, so thats going to help some right there.\'95 Med. just because it's not a $300 cat that says Random Technology doesn't mean it's not a high flow cat. Just means you're not overpaying.

I've had both a catco and random technologies 2.5 inch high flow cat.
They are IDENTICAL in every way except cost.Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
