Can anyone tell me why only one of my exhaust pipes works and the other doesn't? The dual Z28 style exhaust system comes as part of the RS package, and ever since I have had the car, smoke only comes out of one pipe (the left side). It looks retarded. I'm just wondering if there is a reasonable explaination as to why the exhaust does not come out of both sides. Is this normal?

Nice RS -
I think someone else was complaining about the RS exhaust, and the right side being blocked. The only explaination I can think of is that the exhaust would be too loud. My exhaust only lasted about 2 weeks before replaced it. CAMAROS

Replace the stock muffler crap! You'll appreciate the noticeable hp increase. My car bogged BigTime with the stock muffler, then I replaced it with a Flowmaster (the first time). Now I have a Dynomax because I couldn't pass up the deal someone gave me. Nice sound, and nice power gain with either.

ummm....did you keep the stock pipes?...if so the RS exhaust is blocked off in some cases....if you got the whole cat-back then its just easier for the exhaust gases to flow out one side...once you get under power gases should come out both pipes.....
