    how much does a good highflo cat cost? i'm planning to put one on with the triflo. is the cat really worth its money when it is added to such a great system

    I got mine from Summit Racing (Catco 3inch) for less than $100 plus shipping. I think it was like $89.95 or something. They are really cheap!

                I doubt it will make much difference. Just do what I did, gut out the cat. Like not having a cat and its FREE. :D

                    Man, everybody is missing the point ... if your downstream 'stuff' is at least 3", then it would help. If you put a 3" cat on a 2.5" or less S-pipe and I-pipe, then you are defeating the purpose. I can't comment on the tri-flow set-up, but I have a Borla and I had to custom the S-pipe coming out of the cat before the cat-back started (the BORLA is NOT a true Cat-back!!). Anyways, the S-pipe is the BIG restriction in the system! I ordered (2) Stainless Steel 45 degree bends from SLP (since the borla was stainless) for $70. I think my shop had two reduce the bends to 60 degrees before they would fit.
