after installing i really had to PULL the airbox foward to be able to screw it down. felt like the cai was hindering the radiators proper spot. wasnt impossible to screw just had to realy pull the radiator foward. is this normal? i also got the ses light with the cai. i did not think the cai was cause that. is that normal? i havent reset the computer just yet, but has this happened to anybody else? i put my )2 simm on at the same time and tested it with the cutout open, it worked fine, then put the cai on and got the ses??????? any help is appreciated. i will reset the computer tomorrow. btw, after installing the cai and 02 simm i had thought i should be .1-.2 faster. just the opposite. my previous best was 14.45 and now i cant beat 14.6. only thing new is 14.5 had subwoofer and jack and spare tire in rear, 14.6s have all the stuff removed and cai installed.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

slp is notorious for triggering ses lights, i think it may have to do with oil getting from the filter to the filament on the maf sensor. I could be wrong. I can not remember as i never had probs with my K&N fipk 97

Rest the computer is a must tho.

What codes are you getting with the light, or do you not have a scanner? We could meet up to see the car, and i have a scanner. Dang, 14.6. I'm almost there.

Email me if you wanna meet.
