Yeah I first used a low grit sand paper. Dont worry if it looks all scratched up after this step it will.
Next u need they finest sand paper you but and go crazy untill your whole MAF fells smooth as a baby butt I repeted these step untill i felt that the whole thing was smooth make sure u clean out all the metal shavings out of your MAF before turning on car. Also just in case reset the ECM.

are you talking bout MAF sensor?? coz thats plastic thingie in your throttle body...
MAF screen? you should've left that alone.
If you're talking bout that hump in your throttle body well... I ported mine a little infront and lots of it behind the sensor.

Have you checked the archives? This has been brought up. You can remove the lower portion of the maft sensor post. Basically you shouldn't really port it unless you tune the car with a maft+

Oh yeah did you notice anything?

I don;t know if any of yunz are checking this, but can I get some info on porting this stuff?

The MAF in a v-8 is really easy to get to. What bout us? Where is it at? How do I get to it? I am assuming I want to get into the throttle body but what about the rivets? How do I get the rivets out? how do I reattach?\

          Thanks
